But what if it got into the hands of adults – what if we could push the boundaries and take away the innocence?

The story in brief – When Fat Sam’s street gang is brutally murdered and his empire comes under threat, he engages the help of Bugsy Malone – a ‘celebrity gangster’ to help him overpower the rival gang. With new weapons taking the place of the old, the power battle becomes a bloodfest and culminates in a showdown at Fat Sam’s Speakeasy – an illegal drinking den that lures in many a creature of the night into its illicit affairs.

With all the favourite songs and characters still present – but with a twist of dark & a dash of taboo, our version will be directed by Jo Morrison, with Debbi Lindley as MD and Kim McEvoy as Assistant Choreographer.
